Assembly Line Co. is a photo and video creative house based in Vancouver, BC and co-founded by Laura Harvey and Lindsey Blane.

Specializing in festival and event coverage, Assembly Line is the culmination of Lindsey and Laura's combined years of experience as working photographers.

With an eye for style, Assembly Line aims to provide elevated, standout visuals for brands, events and festivals.

After first meeting in 2017 through concert photography (and unknowingly working for the same camera store franchise for a while), through the years, both Laura and Lindsey have had blossoming careers.

Lindsey, primarily a music photographer/videographer, has toured the world with artists, as well as solidifying herself as a music video director.

Laura took on more of a commercial route, spending 4 years in-house as a Senior Photographer at Article, but always continued in her passion for music and events.

After years of supporting and uplifting each other, and countless realizations of "we work so well together!" they decided to make it official: Assembly Line was born.

So why join forces? Both Laura and Lindsey have witnessed first hand just how male-dominated the photo and video industry can be. This made them realize that women need to band together and create community, combine their knowledge, and ultimately: be the team they wish they saw growing up.

Lindsey Blane

Born in Vancouver and raised in Victoria, BC,
Lindsey’s fascination and love of music and concerts soon merged with her interest in photography and filmmaking. Blending those two passions together, she has been lucky enough to travel the world documenting artists and festivals, and filming many music videos.

Laura Harvey

Originally from London, UK, Laura relocated to Vancouver, Canada in 2016, and has grown her career on the west coast of Canada. Having spent over 4 years in-house at Article as Senior Photographer and Editor, Laura developed her skills in the commercial world, expanding her already broad abilities in the world of studio and product photography.
